Four more cases of coronavirus in Konjic

KONJIC, (Patria) - The Civil Protection Service of the Municipality of Konjic announced tonight that four more people have contracted the coronavirus in that city. There are 136 infected with coronavirus in BiH.

"We inform the citizens of the Municipality of Konjic that during the day on 03/23/2020, samples were taken from 14 people from the area of the Municipality of Konjic, who were tested for the coronavirus COVID-19. Of the 14 tested, 10 samples are negative while 4 are positive," it was announced from the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Konjic.

In comments on the Facebook post by the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Konjic, residents of Konjic point out that self-isolation measures are not being respected. This concerns the "Igman" Konjic cluster, where a celebration was held on March 11 with more than 200 participants, including an infected guest from Serbia. Only about ten days later, it was discovered that among the infected were the director of Igman, Đahid Muratbegović, two employees, and the singer who performed at the celebration, Berin Buturović.

Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić was also one of the guests at the celebration, and his coronavirus test was negative. As he said at a press conference on Monday afternoon, he does not think he will be tested again.
