Horrifying scene from KCUS: Oncology patients waiting for examination in a drafty tunnel!

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the midst of the fight against coronavirus and the pandemic, it seems that the sickest bear the most burden, those who for years have been condemned to fight for medicines, expertise, examinations.

This morning's photograph from the University Clinical Center Sarajevo is frightening, as more than 50 oncology patients are waiting in the tunnel at the entrance to KCUS in a draft and cold.

"No wonder our director Sebija Izetbegović is telling us from social media to stay home," said an indignant patient.

She points out that security is regulating entry and that they are quite restrictive and rough.

Otherwise, the patient pathway has never been established in these difficult times, which experts and doctors have warned about, emphasizing that chaos like what we see at KCUS this morning could arise over time.
