Jerlagić: SBiH remains in the coalition, we will get the energy sector

In the building of the Presidency of BiH a meeting was held between the president of SDA and the Party for BiH, Bakir Izetbegović and Amer Jerlagić, after which Jerlagić confirmed that SBiH remains in the coalition that they signed on July 31 with SDA, BPS and A-SDA, reports a reporter from the Patria news agency.

After the one-hour meeting, Jerlagić said that he agreed with Izetbegović that this party would get the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry in the Government of the Federation of BiH, and they will discuss potential candidates in the coming days.

- The reconstruction of the government can start from September 1  - said Jerlagić and added that they also discussed including other parties such as HDZ 1999 in the coalition to make the parliamentary majority more stable.

Jerlagić also commented on DF's officials, specifically the Vice President of the Federation of BiH, Milan Dunović, who has not stepped down from this position even though DF left the coalition with SDA and HDZ.

- It would be moral for them to also step down as vice president because they cannot simultaneously be in the opposition and in power - said Jerlagić.

This meeting was organized because the Party for BiH had been announcing its withdrawal from the coalition with SDA in recent days, a coalition that had not yet even taken effect.

Jerlagić said that SDA did not fulfill the demands set by the party he leads, which concern the Law on Forests of the Federation of BiH and the appointment of members of the Supervisory Board of Elektroprivreda BiH without an agreement with SBiH.
