The central program of the public New Year's Eve celebration for 2026 began around 9:15 PM with a performance by Divanhana, a band that performs traditional music of the Balkan countries in new, recognizable arrangements created under the influence of jazz, pop, and classical music.

Divanhana places special focus on nurturing and presenting sevdah, the urban traditional music of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Tonight, the band also presented their new album, which they released several months ago.

After Divanhana, the Sarajevo audience in the "bitter" cold was warmed up by one of the best vocalists from this region, Dženan Lončarević, known for his excellent repertoire and the top-notch atmosphere he creates at every performance.

The music and stage spectacle on the stage behind the SCC was completed by Croatian pop singer Jelena Rozga, who, together with Mayor Samir Avdić, ushered the citizens of Sarajevo and the numerous tourists who came from various parts of the world into the New Year 2026.
