One person died in a fire in Vogošća

(Patria) - The Operational Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton announced that one person died in a fire that broke out in Vogošća.

As they stated, the Professional Fire Brigade (PVB) Sarajevo was informed on March 14, four minutes after midnight, by the Vogošća Police Department about a fire in a residential building at Gornja Jošanica 1 street.

Upon arrival of police officers at the scene, it was determined that part of the residential building is used by Š. H. from Vogošća, born in 1978. A lifeless body was found in the room affected by the fire.

The fire was localized at 00:40, while the emergency doctor confirmed the death of the person found at 01:04.

After the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed, an investigation was conducted at the scene in the presence of a permanent court expert in fire protection and police officers.
