Jasmina Selimović elected new Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - At today's session of the Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBiH), Jasmina Selimović was elected as the new Governor, with the session lasting several hours.

Selimović is a full professor and dean of the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, where she also defended her doctoral dissertation in the field of finance and earned the title of Doctor of Economic Sciences.

She was appointed to the Governing Board at the request of Denis Bećirović.

Selimović has served as Vice Dean for Teaching and Scientific Research since 2012, and in 2018 she was elected for the first time as Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Sarajevo.

She is active in global organizations for the accreditation of business schools and universities, and is also engaged as an international expert for accreditation with quality agencies in EU countries.
