Jaganjac visited Žepče, Maglaj and Zavidovići

Director of the Federal Fund for Assistance to Disaster-Stricken Areas on the Territory of FBiH Jasmin Jaganjac yesterday, together with the Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton Munib Huseinagić, visited the mayors of the municipalities of Žepče Mato Zovko, Maglaj Mehmed Mustabašić, and Zavidovići Suad Omerašević, reports the Patria News Agency.

The purpose of the visit to Žepče and Maglaj was to analyze the funds invested so far in the reconstruction and construction of houses, with a focus on the construction of two settlements (in Žepče at the location of Donja Golubinja - construction of 26 houses and in Maglaj 20 houses at a location to be determined by the mayor).

So far, 455,000 KM has been allocated from the Fund for Žepče for the construction of 13 houses. 499,800 KM has been allocated to the municipality of Maglaj for the construction of 14 houses (in the final phase of implementation).

For 171 small entrepreneurs in Maglaj (who are not in the VAT system), 342,000 KM has been allocated, as well as 40,000 KM (at the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees) for the Maglaj settlement Jeftići - Gornja Bočinja.

Tripartite agreements will be signed in the coming days, so end-users can expect the implementation by the end of this month at the latest. In Zavidovići, an agreement was reached on investing efforts and funds for the construction of ten more houses to replace those destroyed by landslides, which would resolve this issue for this municipality.

- Discussions were also held about the start of works on the infrastructure project Željezno Polje in the municipality of Žepče, for which the Fund has allocated 700,000 KM. Namely, the works are expected to start at the beginning of 2015, it was announced from the Fund.
