Jablanica: Construction of a building for flood and landslide victims begins, a permanent housing solution for eight families

(Patria) - The Municipality of Jablanica announced that yesterday the contractor was introduced to the job on the project of constructing a residential building in Gornja Kolonija, intended for citizens whose properties were destroyed due to floods and landslides.

This is a project of exceptional importance for the local community, which will permanently resolve the housing issue for eight families who suffered significant material damage.



The Municipality of Jablanica has obtained and secured the land, as well as all the necessary construction permits, thereby creating conditions for the realization of this significant project.

The Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees is the implementer of the project, i.e., of the funds provided by the United Arab Emirates, and has completed the entire tender procedure, including the selection of contractors and supervision.

The contractor is the company GPI d.o.o. Konjic, while Radis d.o.o. Istočno Sarajevo is in charge of expert supervision.



The total contracted value of the project is 1,073,273.78 KM, and the construction of a residential building with a total of eight apartments is planned. The deadline for the execution of works is 300 days.

The realization of this project continues the support provided to citizens affected by natural disasters, with the aim of ensuring a safer and higher quality living environment, the Municipality of Jablanica announced.
