On Tuesday, September 22, 2015, court bailiffs will enter the apartment of Kemal Čaušević, former director of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH, who was arrested in the Pandora operation in June 2014 along with 54 other individuals on the order of the BiH Prosecutor's Office on suspicion of organized crime, money laundering, and customs and tax evasion, and will carry out the seizure of property based on lawsuits filed by Mehmedalija Osmić, president of the UIOBiH Union and the Federal Ministry of Finance, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
The seizure of property will take place at the address of one of Čaušević's apartments at 12 Mula Mustafe Bašeskije Street in Sarajevo, based on judgments that Čaušević lost, starting at 10:30 AM.
Osmić told the Patria agency that he will attend the seizure along with representatives of the Federal Ministry of Finance, and that Čaušević does not necessarily have to be present because the court bailiffs have a warrant to enter the apartment.
Incidentally, Čaušević was released in September 2014, and to this day it remains unclear whether he has the status of a defendant, witness, or suspect.
