Before the session of the SDA Presidency began, the party's deputy president Bakir Izetbegović openly stated that his favorite for the BiH Council of Ministers mandate holder is Denis Zvizdić.
However, he said that Adil Osmanović is also a good option for any state position.
- So, I will support Zvizdić, with the understanding that we will see if the rest of the SDA Presidency will do the same. When I say Zvizdić, I primarily mean his successes at the local level and the fact that SDA has returned to Sarajevo in a big way, said Izetbegović.
When asked by journalists what he expects, Denis Zvizdić said without any doubt that he believes he will be elected.
- I don't think you have accurate information regarding the candidates, but I certainly believe in my victory, Zvizdić emphasized.
SDA Vice-President Šefik Džaferović clearly stated that he will support Zvizdić, while Presidency member Ramiz Salkić was not as open as his colleagues and briefly stated that he will announce his decision soon.
Another party vice-president, Sadik Ahmetović, openly stated his favorite.
- My candidate remains Adil Osmanović, as one of the best solutions for BiH and for SDA itself. Any other proposal would lead to continuous problems within SDA, although I will not say that Zvizdić is a bad candidate, nor will I say anything bad about him. But I think that the party's vice-presidents have the capacity to perform such an important function as the chairman of the Council of Ministers or the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Ahmetović explained.
Senad Šepić did not wish to reveal his favorite. He said that he expects a constructive discussion from which the best solution will be found.
