Izetbegović Calls Court Documents Speculation!

Bakir Izetbegović, president of the SDA, before the Collegium session where, among other things, the coalition between the SDA and SBB will be discussed, responding to a journalist's question about how he comments on the fact that at the Court of BiH a transcript of a conversation could be heard in which Fahrudin Radončić, president of the SBB, said that Ramiz Delalić Ćelo and Nedžad Ugljen were killed on the orders of Bakir Izetbegović, said:

- I would not comment based on something that is, at a time when Mr. Radončić is not present, so we could ask him whether he stands by those words. What is important to me at this moment is the stability of the SDA-SBB coalition, and what someone thinks or possibly says at some point may not even be important. What is important is how Mr. Radončić relates to this coalition, and he relates well. We had good messages today after the SBB Presidency and will receive such a response from our side, and that is important for this country. And now these speculations or what someone thinks at a time of crisis are not important – said Izetbegović.

To the Patria journalist's statement that this is not speculation, but a transcript read before the Court of BiH, Izetbegović said:

- Even though transcripts exist, people have the right, when in crisis and emotion, to say something that is unfounded. I do not stand behind that because it is primarily not in my interest. My interest is a stable coalition and a good relationship with Mr. Radončić.

When asked how he comments on the fact that the SBB continues to warn about the so-called Čamparization of the Prosecutor's Office, Izetbegović said that their views do not align on that.

- The SBB has the right to its views, and in that sense, ours do not agree. Aljoša Čampara was among the first to propose a coalition with the SBB, and everything else is speculation. I will continue to treat people within the SDA based on how they work, not on how someone assumes or heard that someone told someone in a café. For me, the only relevant thing is how people relate to the SDA bodies, the Presidency and the Main Board, and I will remind you that both in the Presidency and the Main Board we made a decision by consensus that the SDA enters a coalition with the SBB. Things will continue in that direction – added Izetbegović.

The SDA president also commented on the story about how the SBB conditioned the SDA to remove certain people within the party from specific positions.

- They did not ask for that, and I hope they will not, because the SDA will not be ready to do such things at anyone's request. I do not intend to interfere in the personnel decisions of the SBB or our coalition partners, nor will the SDA allow anyone to create personnel policy for us. Of course, the only ones who can exclude themselves from the SDA are the people themselves if they do not behave responsibly and disciplinarily in relation to the decisions of the party bodies.

Finally, Izetbegović said that scars will probably remain from the whole situation, but that the reflex of spite has kicked in within the SBB because it is high time for the people to feel that something concrete is being resolved.

- We had 11,000 employees last year, but all that is insufficient and it must be clearer and more tangible that this coalition is yielding results – added Izetbegović.
