Izetbegović with Pósza: Budapest should pursue a balanced policy that will not arouse suspicion from the pro-Bosnian public

(Patria) - SDA President Bakir Izetbegović received the Ambassador of Hungary to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Krisztián Pósa, in Sarajevo today.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the stagnation on our country's European path.

Izetbegović emphasized that the dysfunctionality of the ruling coalition and the constant attacks by the Dodik regime on the constitutional and legal order of BiH have caused the biggest political crisis in our country since Dayton.

Considering the friendly relations between the two countries, and that Hungary is a member of NATO and the European Union, Izetbegović conveyed to the ambassador the expectation that official Budapest will pursue a balanced policy that will not arouse suspicion from the pro-Bosnian part of the public in our country.

He pointed out that this has not been the case in recent years, given that Hungarian officials have supported Milorad Dodik, even after a final court ruling.

Izetbegović stressed that friendly countries, especially those whose soldiers are part of the EUFOR mission, are expected to respect court rulings and decisions of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
