
(Patria) - The President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović met today with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alfred Grannas.
The meeting discussed Bosnia and Herzegovina's European path and the reform processes necessary for its continuation and acceleration.
Izetbegović emphasized the importance of clear and continuous support from the European Union, and especially Germany, stating that it represents an important pillar for reforms aimed at strengthening the rule of law, institutions, and the overall stability of the country.
Special attention was also paid to improving the electoral process in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the discussion.
Izetbegović pointed out the need to introduce modern electoral technologies in the next General Elections, with the aim of increasing transparency and citizens' trust in the electoral process.
He informed the Ambassador about the SDA's activities on amending the Election Law to enable their implementation, as well as about attempts to obstruct such reforms.
At the end of the meeting, he wished Ambassador Grannas a successful mandate in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
