Izetbegović received Razija Mujanović: Resolving the status of distinguished athletes

BiH Presidency member Bakir Izetbegović today received celebrated former basketball player Razija Mujanović and congratulated her on her induction into the FIBA "Hall of Fame", emphasizing that it is a great recognition for Razija Mujanović personally, but also for BiH sports and the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole, writes Patria agency.

Razija Mujanović is one of 13 female basketball players from around the world to whom FIBA has paid tribute for her contribution to basketball with her induction into the "Hall of Fame". Besides her, our best basketball player Mirza Delibašić was also inducted into the "Hall of Fame".

During a cordial conversation, Razija Mujanović and BiH Presidency member Izetbegović recalled the successes she achieved in her rich career. Mujanović emphasized that she always proudly represented her country, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The situation in BiH sports and the status of athletes were also discussed, especially after the end of their careers. It was stated that it is necessary to resolve the status of distinguished athletes, medal winners at the Olympic Games and World and European Championships, through appropriate regulations and in a quality manner.
