
(Patria) - President of the Party of Democratic Action Bakir Izetbegović met today with the Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Daniel Koski.
The meeting discussed key political and security issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with special emphasis on the consequences of the policies of former RS entity President Milorad Dodik and the necessity of joint action in overcoming the current constitutional, political and security crisis.
President Izetbegović expressed gratitude to the U.S. administration for its continued support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and emphasized that a strong partnership with the U.S. is of key importance for the security, stability and further development of the country.
Also discussed were projects of strategic importance for Bosnia and Herzegovina, among which a special place is occupied by the construction of the Southern Gas Interconnection, whose implementation was initiated by the adoption of a law in the Parliament of the Federation of BiH at the initiative of the SDA Caucus.
During the meeting, President Izetbegović informed his interlocutor about the current activities of the SDA, as well as about the plans and political perspectives of the Party in the coming period.
