Izetbegović visits Trade Fair in Tešanj, speaks with businesspeople

(Patria) - SDA President Bakir Izetbegović visited today the 19th International Trade Fair Tešanj - BiH 2025, one of the most significant economic events in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the visit, he spoke with businesspeople about current economic conditions, challenges, and priority steps to enable further strengthening of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian economy.



Special emphasis was placed on the importance of developing domestic production, strengthening export potential, and creating a more favorable business environment for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Izetbegović emphasized that Tešanj and its businesspeople represent one of the most successful examples of entrepreneurial spirit in Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose results are reflected in the steady growth of employment, exports, and innovation.



The discussions also highlighted the need for stronger institutional support for the real sector, particularly through stable legislative and fiscal policies, infrastructure improvement, and acceleration of digitalization processes.
