Izetbegović: OHR will be responsible if Dodik remains SNSD president

(Patria) - If he retains the position of party president, Milorad Dodik will be able to appoint people and continue to do what he is doing - perhaps even more decisively, stated SDA President Bakir Izetbegović tonight, as a guest on the show '7plus' on Hayat Television.

Izetbegović points out that Dodik will not be banned from political activity as was announced, and thus will retain 99 percent of his influence.

- If he remains SNSD president, the people from the Trojka and the Office of the High Representative (OHR) will be part of this charade, especially the OHR because it removed the ban that he cannot be the SNSD president.

They did this with some representatives of powerful countries from the Peace Implementation Council (PIC). This is hidden behind the noise coming from Belgrade and Zagreb - says Izetbegović.

He assesses that foreigners are backing down from Dodik, and after that, those who yield come to calm things down.

- They think they are playing smarter than the politicians fighting Dodik. As our people say, 'going with the flow with a pig'. Foreigners are slowly backing down. Those who reconcile with him appear, and that's how things calm down.

We have been watching this charade for 15 years. We cannot have a person who does not respect the law. This must be firmly stopped - added Izetbegović.
