(Patria) - In the last month, SDA president Bakir Izetbegović met with several international officials, ambassadors, representatives of the European Union and the European Parliament. All these meetings were held at the SDA headquarters.
Although Izetbegović does not hold a political office, numerous international officials have been visiting the SDA headquarters for a long time.
Although the then Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy Daniel Koski visited him at the end of August, a meeting with the new Chargé d'Affaires John Ginkel is already scheduled for the following week. Izetbegović attended an official reception at the US Embassy a few days ago.
Speaking at a forum in Tešanj on Friday evening, Izetbegović also discussed relations with the international community, emphasizing that this relationship has completely changed.
"In a few days, I had a series of meetings and encounters with international officials. They saw what everyone sees. This was a failed experiment. They must bring back the engine that drives this country forward," said the SDA president.
He emphasized that the SDA is already working on preparing a program for the next General Elections, and on preparing, selecting, and promoting cadres who are ready to take on the most serious functions in the next term.
In the last month, Izetbegović was visited by members of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET), who were on an official visit to BiH along with the Head of the EU Delegation Luigi Soreca, the Ambassador of Hungary to Bosnia and Herzegovina Kristijan Poša, the Ambassador of Russia to BiH Igor Kalabuhov, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic Jana Šindelková, and the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy Daniel Koski.
