Izetbegović: Smaller parties have great pretensions, formation of government in FBiH will be slower

After a three-hour session of the SDA Collegium, party leader Bakir Izetbegović said that the formation of government at the FBiH level will be slow because small parties have greater pretensions and expectations than the results they achieved in the elections, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- I would not speculate now about who it is, but I think that in the end it will end as it should - Izetbegović pointed out.

Incidentally, it has been known for some time that the SDA signed an agreement with BPS, SBiH, A-sda, and the formation of a new government was announced by the beginning of September. However, it is now certain that such speed and resolution of the crisis in FBiH will not happen.

Furthermore, Izetbegović continued to talk about the Collegium session, where, as he told a Patria journalist, they also discussed the SBB and what happened after Izetbegović said he was willing to meet with Fahrudin Radončić if he invited him.

- And a lot of that was constructed, after which unnecessary bickering started, and actually the whole story started in Mostar when Dragan Čović had a meeting with Radončić. I said I would gladly meet with Radončić, and now maybe such a signal will come from us for a meeting, because with that broader coalition we could make significant progress in the country - Izetbegović pointed out.

The president of the SDA also confirmed that he received a letter from four MPs from the PD PS BiH, who expressed their dissatisfaction in it. We remind you that the letter was sent by Šemsudin Mehmedović, Senad Šepić, Salko Sokolović and Sadik Ahmetović.

- I just received that letter, but I haven't read it yet - Izetbegović said briefly.

At the Collegium session, personnel solutions were also discussed, and Izetbegović admitted that there are some dissatisfactions.

- For example, we have BH Telecom where there are four people from Zenica, now EP BiH where three people from TK are represented, and people from Sarajevo and HNK are almost not represented at all. We'll see, something will have to change there - Izetbegović added.

The members of the SDA Collegium also agreed to hold a session of the party's Presidency, which will be held on Friday in Banja Luka, and the topic will be the situation of Bosniak returnees in the RS.

Incidentally, Izetbegović also announced some meetings in Banja Luka with coalition partners from the Alliance for Changes, a visit to the Ferhadija mosque, and when asked if he might meet with the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, he briefly said that he "does not believe so".

Also, the SDA Collegium gave strong support to the entity and state prime ministers regarding their proposals to restart the production facility of the burned Krivaja factory, and there was also talk about the urgency of solving the problem of milk exports to the EU.
