Izetbegović and Komšić Bury the Hatchet: SDA-DF Coalition Remains in Force

President of the Democratic Front Željko Komšić said after a meeting with SDA Vice President Bakir Izetbegović that an agreement was reached to establish a kind of moratorium on further appointments, which will be included in the agreement on the principles of forming the government, adding that he refers to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the cantons, reports the Patria news agency.

According to his words, the HDZ will also be invited to join, "some criteria will be developed regarding further appointments, primarily to ministerial positions and leadership positions."

- But the key thing is to stop these appointments, that what the law now mandates, people whose mandates have expired, only those who will temporarily perform the duty, as acting, should be appointed instead of them, and after the governments are formed, each government will make an assessment, primarily of the professional staff it needs - Komšić told reporters.
