Izetbegović: Dodik is leading toward conflict, but there will be no breakup or partition of Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović stated that the president of the RS entity, Milorad Dodik, can lead Bosnia and Herzegovina into conflict, but there will be no breakup or partition of the country.

In an interview on BIR television, Izetbegović emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be divided and will be defended by all means, as was the case in the past.

„Milorad Dodik will lead things to conflict, if allowed. Not to the breakup or partition of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because he will not divide it. We will defend it in every way, as we defended it before. But he can lead us into conflict and a repetition of very ugly things,“ said Izetbegović.

He also stated that „there is neither agreement nor peace with Milorad Dodik,“ and emphasized that he must leave the political life of Bosnia and Herzegovina to enable the country's recovery and stability.
