315 Misdemeanor Warrants Issued for Violating Ban Measures and Not Wearing Masks

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Due to violations of the movement ban between 20:00 and 05:00 in the Sarajevo Canton area, police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton issued 51 misdemeanor warrants, while 264 individuals were sanctioned for violating the order on mandatory social physical distancing and mandatory use of a protective mask or other suitable item while moving in public spaces.

We appeal to citizens to adhere to the aforementioned orders, thus avoiding potential sanctions.

Also, we thank the vast majority of those who respected the imposed measures and, through responsible behavior, contributed to the current situation of the coronavirus pandemic.
