Athlete of the Year selection in BiH organized by an association that does not even exist!

The biggest sports spectacle in BiH, the selection of Athlete of the Year, is organized by a fictitious association, the Sports Association of BiH, which is not registered in any court register in the country!

From the Ministry of Justice of BiH, it was confirmed to the Patria agency, in a telephone conversation, that the request for registration of the Sports Association in BiH was submitted only recently, and that the registration is still in procedure. Once it is finally registered, it will bear the name „Sports Association in BiH“.

The Sports Association of BiH, as it has been presenting itself so far, organized this year the 71st selection of the best athletes and sports teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Athlete Amel Tuka and judoka Larisa Cerić were declared the best athletes in BiH for 2015.

The glamorous event, which costs the citizens of BiH tens of thousands of KM from the budget, was attended by almost all sports and political elites from the country. However, the entire event is tarnished by the fact that the Association is actually a fictitious organization, which does not exist as a legal entity at all.
