Election of the Best Athlete of BiH by "Nezavisne novine" and BHRT: Mladen Ivanić Patron of the Event

Mladen Ivanić, member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is the patron of this year's 16th Election of the Best Athlete of BiH, traditionally organized by "Nezavisne novine" and Radio-Television of BiH.

The Presidency of BiH accepted patronage over one of the most significant sports events in BiH at its 30th regular session, continuing the earlier practice of the state leadership.

- The Presidency of BiH has been supporting this important event organized by "Nezavisne novine" and Radio-Television of BiH from the very beginning, and I am glad that this beautiful tradition continues this year as well. The expert jury is composed of competent and respected individuals from the world of sports. I wish them successful work and that in healthy competition they recognize and reward the best and most deserving, which will certainly be an additional incentive for even better results in the future - said Ivanić.

The president of this year's jury is Žarko Varajić. Every year, the most prominent and deserving individuals from the world of sports, economy, politics, and media participate in the organization and implementation of this project. The support of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH, as well as the partner of the event, the Olympic Committee of BiH, is indispensable.

This year's announcement of the best will be held on December 15 at the Congress Hall of the "Holiday" hotel in Sarajevo at 8 PM with a live broadcast on BHT 1.
