(Patria) - A fire broke out in the immediate vicinity of the Velež stadium in the afternoon hours, and three fire trucks prevented the fire from spreading to buildings.
The flames engulfed grass, low vegetation and an auxiliary building just behind the stadium, and at one point the situation threatened to spiral out of control.
Thanks to the quick response of the Mostar Professional Fire Brigade, which dispatched three vehicles to the scene, the fire was contained and further spread was prevented.
