Elected Members of the Management Board – Representatives of UNSA

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At the 1st electoral session of the Senate of the University of Sarajevo, held on November 29, 2017, one item on the agenda was discussed: Election of Members of the Management Board – Representatives of the University of Sarajevo.

Senators of the University of Sarajevo adopted the reports of the Commission for the procedure of electing members of the Management Board – representatives of the University, and appointed the Commission for the procedure of voting for the election of members of the Management Board – representatives of the University.

For the election of members of the Management Board – representatives of the University, for a mandate period of 4 years, 15 candidates from among full professors applied.

After the voting procedure for the election of members of the Management Board – representatives of the University was completed, the Senate adopted the report of the Commission for the procedure of voting for the election of members of the Management Board – representatives of the University.

At the session held, the Senate of the University of Sarajevo elected 6 members of the Management Board – representatives of the University from among full professors:

The elected members of the Management Board – representatives of the University are:

- Prof. Dr. Dijana Avdić, Full Professor at the Faculty of Health Studies
- Prof. Dr. Kasim Bajrović, Full Professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics
- Prof. Dr. Jasminka Gradaščević-Sijerčić, Full Professor at the Faculty of Law
- Prof. Dr. Abidin Deljanin, Full Professor at the Faculty of Transport and Communications
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dejan Milošević, Full Professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics
- Ddr. Lidija Zvačko, Full Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy

At the same session, based on the Decision of the Student Parliament of the University of Sarajevo on the election of a member of the Management Board – student representative, the Senate of the University of Sarajevo appointed the student representative: Haris Zahiragić, a second-cycle student at the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo.

The Management Board is a collegial management body responsible for the operations of the University. The University Management Board has 11 members appointed for a four-year term, of whom 4 members are appointed by the Government on behalf of the founder, 6 members are appointed by the Senate, and 1 member representing students is appointed by the Senate of the University, who is elected and proposed by the Student Parliament.
