New Government of USK elected: Ružnić as Prime Minister, SBiH gets Speaker of the Assembly

(Patria) - The Assembly of the Una-Sana Canton (USK) today dismissed the USK Government led by Nijaz Hušić (SDA) and appointed a new one, which will be led by Mustafa Ružnić (NES).

To recall, Ružnić also served as Prime Minister of USK in the period 2018-2023.

Before the new Government took the oath, he told the representatives that he would invest all his energy to move USK forward and that this would be in cooperation with partners - the trade unions.

- With God's help, we move forward, where we left off - said Ružnić.



The USK Government will consist of the following ministers:
‣ Sanela Zećirević, Ministry of Justice and Administration;
‣ Štefica Grgić, Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Policy;
‣ Almir Zulić, Ministry for Veterans and Disabled Veterans Affairs;
‣ Samra Mehić, Ministry of Economy;
‣ Edvin Odobašić, Ministry of Construction, Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection.
‣ Adnan Habibija, Ministry of Internal Affairs;
‣ Denis Osmankić, Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport;
‣ Danko Jakšić, Ministry of Finance;
‣ Edvin Alijanović, Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry.

With the formation of the new USK Government, the phase of political agreements has been completed, and the new convocation faces numerous challenges in stabilizing finances, implementing infrastructure projects, and improving the living standards of USK citizens.

The ruling majority in USK now consists of SDP, NiP, NES, DF, and SBiH.



Today, the leadership of the USK Assembly was also dismissed, so Nisvet Jusić from the Party of BiH will hold the position of the new Speaker, while his deputies will be Mladen Lonić (SDP) and Ines Delić (SDA).
