According to meteorologists' forecasts for this winter, at least at its beginning, there will be more rain than snow, writes the Patria News Agency.
According to statistics published by "accuweather", December will have as many as 11 rainy days, while snow will fall on only seven days (December 8, 9, 11, 16, 17, 25, and 29). However, what might worry citizens are the extremely cold days literally gripped by ice and freezing rain. An icy period is expected after December 20th, and the beginning of January will also be marked by freezing rain and low temperatures.
The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute has not yet prepared a statistical forecast for the winter, but they stated that nothing extreme is expected.
