DF to NAP: Grlić Radman struggles to digest the truth

(Patria) - Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman was deeply affected by the address of the BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić at the United Nations General Assembly in New York last night.

"We reject the insinuations of the illegitimate member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić, who has severely set back relations between Croats and Bosniaks in the Federation of BiH.

He continues with activities that undermine the stability and prosperity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and sabotage its European and Euro-Atlantic path," Grlić Radman stated in a post on platform X.

And Komšić, let us remind you, among other things, stated last night in his extensive address to the UN that Croatia is responsible for the aggression against BiH and the demolition of the "Kovačević" case before the European Court of Human Rights.

- I want to remind you that during that period in the nineties of the last century, the international community, through the bodies of the United Nations, imposed an embargo on Bosnia and Herzegovina for the purchase of defensive weapons, thus preventing our country's defense against a double aggression.

This would have significantly shortened the duration of the armed conflict in any case, many lives would have been saved, as a peace agreement would have been reached much sooner, for which the necessary condition was the creation of a balance in military power between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the two neighboring countries that committed aggression.

Because of that embargo, the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina lasted almost four years, and a large number of human lives were unnecessarily lost - Komšić said.

(Patria) - The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Željko Komšić, addressed the general debate of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York tonight. Read Komšić's full speech at the end of the text.

- The case that is unknown to you, perhaps unimportant, but it is extremely important to us in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is a case in which the appellant sought simple, justified, and logical protection of his active right to vote, which was denied to him.

The case was decided in the first instance in favor of the appellant Kovačević, with the established existence of ethno-territorial discrimination, which then a part of the international community, investing enormous diplomatic and financial efforts, tried to annul in the second instance.

One of the countries, which is completely incomprehensible and unacceptable, provided a financial donation to the European Court of Human Rights and later appeared in the same case as an interested party, which is an expression of classic political corruption.

Therefore, the logical question arises here - can the judgments of international courts be bought - Komšić said, among other things, in his address.

We asked the delegate of DF in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament, Dženan Đonlagić, for a comment on these serious accusations by Grlić Radman against the Chairman of the BiH Presidency and at the same time the leader of the Democratic Front (DF) Željko Komšić.

Đonlagić says it is good that the whole world hears that the current policy of the Republic of Croatia is in conflict with European standards and the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights from Strasbourg.

- Grlić Radman will not decide who the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina will elect to the BiH Presidency. The Hague Criminal Court established the existence of an international armed conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the state of occupation, as well as the existence of a joint criminal enterprise - Đonlagić commented briefly.
