(Patria) - The Islamic Community, through partner organizations from the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Amman, has dispatched another convoy of humanitarian aid to Gaza, for which funds were provided by members of the Community through their voluntary contributions.
More than a thousand packages will be delivered to Gaza in the coming days through the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization and the British organization Human Appeal.
- I am pleased that we have secured all permits with our partner organizations and that these packages, God willing, will be in Gaza in a few days - stated Muhamed Jusić, Director of the Directorate for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Riyaset of the Islamic Community in BiH, for MINA Agency.
During his stay in Jordan, Director Jusić also met with several representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations with whom he discussed possibilities of delivering additional aid to the residents of Gaza, taking into account all challenges and priorities.
Yesterday in Amman, Jusić held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, Hussein Al-Shebli, with whom he discussed future joint projects.
He also met with representatives of the organization Arab Medical Aid, with whom he discussed priorities in delivering aid in medicines and other medical equipment that are currently allowed to be delivered to Gaza.
After tens of thousands of iftars distributed during Ramadan, Eid packages, and the launch of a mobile clinic, the Islamic Community will continue to implement humanitarian aid actions for the endangered population of Gaza in the coming days.
