Ivica Bošnjak from Paris opens GP Gradiška, only Croats in official BiH delegation!

(Patria) - Deputy Minister of Security of BiH Ivica Bošnjak (HDZ BiH) has been on an official visit to France since Monday, and the delegation representing Bosnia and Herzegovina consists exclusively of Croats!

Bošnjak was accompanied by Mirko Kuprešaković, Director of the BiH Border Police, Dragan Andrić, Deputy Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, Igor Marić, Director of the Federal Police Administration, Mladen Bebek, Minister of Internal Affairs of the West Herzegovina Canton, Ivan Brkić, Police Commissioner of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Robert Perić, Police Commissioner of HNK, and Anđelka Cvitan, Head of the Professional Standards Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central Bosnia Canton.

Exclusively Croats in the delegation

During the visit, Bošnjak and the delegation will hold a series of meetings with political and security representatives of the Republic of France, including representatives of the French Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Senate, the Gendarmerie, and the Border Police. The delegation's return is planned for May 25. How it is possible that only Croats are going to France from eight different institutions, while there is no representative from the RS, is a question for Ivica Bošnjak, who has been managing the Ministry since December 2024, following the arrest of Nenad Nešić.

Yesterday, both Bošnjak and Kuprešaković coordinated activities from Paris regarding the opening of the new Gradiška border crossing, after the old crossing was closed to traffic following the collapse of the pedestrian part of the bridge.

Although the Council of Ministers of BiH did not give consent for the opening of the new border crossing, nor did the Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority, Bošnjak, in coordination with the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH Borjana Krišto, as well as SNSD officials, and especially with the Minister of Finance and Treasury Srđan Amidžić, made a decision to temporarily open this border crossing until August 19, 2026.

Bošnjak did the same thing in December 2025, when the plan to open the Gradiška border crossing failed during the visit of Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković. At that time, an HDZ official enabled Plenković to cross the border by temporarily opening the crossing. As Plenković told the media at the time, he deliberately wanted to pass through to see what the crossing looked like, into which Croatia had also invested significant financial resources.
