The BiH basketball team was defeated by the Finnish selection with a score of 59:88 in the first round of Eurobasket, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
Incidentally, this was a crucial step for the Finns towards qualifying for the round of 16, as one of the four best teams in group A.
Although the basketball team led by Duško Ivanović won against Israel in a dramatic match, they failed to achieve their goal today and have almost lost their chance to advance to the second round.
The Finns were more aggressive and energetic during the match, while BiH had a poor three-point shooting percentage and many turnovers.
BiH will play its last match at Eurobasket tomorrow against Russia.
