Ivanović must apologize to BiH citizens on his show for the insult

The insult made by Serbian host Ivan Ivanović in the show "Veče sa Ivanom Ivanovićem" on Friday (Prva srpska TV), aired on Saturday on Alternativna TV, that the number of Bosnian women giving birth before the age of 15 has increased since 1995, and linking it to the Blue Helmets, has caused public outrage in BiH, writes the BiH news agency Patria. We remind you that during the aggression against BiH, more than 20,000 women were raped, and in this way, Ivanović brutally mocked all the victims.

In addition to numerous calls for a boycott of his show, and calls for Federal Television to stop airing the show "Tvoje lice zvuči poznato" where Ivanović is a jury member, an online petition has been launched demanding a public apology from the host to all citizens of BiH. The petition has been signed by several hundred people, and there are numerous comments condemning Ivanović.

Interestingly, Serbian media are silent, and the host only responded via the social network Twitter on Monday evening.

- I apologize to everyone who was offended by my address on Friday. I am a great opponent of war and violence. I obviously do not know the situation in BiH well enough - Ivanović wrote.

There is still no reaction from FTV, while Prva srpska TV, which airs the controversial show, gave a brief explanation that they did not intend to offend anyone.
