Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanić said after the conclusion of the constitutive session of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina that the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina agreed that after the constitution of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and after the completion of the constitution of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, they would enter into a process of consultations on the appointment of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, reports a reporter for the Bosnian news agency Patria.
- We are convinced that both processes will be completed by the end of this month, so by the end of the month we should have the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and at the same time a candidate for the Chairman of the Council of Ministers. The entire process of constituting the Council of Ministers should be completed by the end of January or in the first ten days of February, which would be good news and a relatively quick formation of government after the elections - said Ivanić.
Ivanić also spoke today with Ambassador Jonathan Moore, head of the OSCE mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On this occasion, Ambassador Moore congratulated Chairman Ivanić on his election as a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and wished him success in his future work. The meeting discussed the establishment of government bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the October elections.
