Delivery of additional 10 Stadler trams to begin ahead of schedule

(Patria) - The Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton informs that the production of Sarajevo trams is proceeding according to the planned dynamics, and that the delivery will begin a few months ahead of the established deadline.

As emphasized by the relevant ministry, the first of 10 additional new trams will be in Sarajevo at the beginning of spring.

The Ministry of Transport of KS procured 15 new Stadler trams in the past period, for the first time in 40 years.

"The procurement of an additional 10 trams is a continuation of the improvement of public transport in our canton. The new trams started operating on March 28 last year, they were bought with the money of all citizens of the canton, and their procurement has significantly improved the quality of service and increased the number of users," said the Minister of Transport of KS Adnan Šteta.
