Pension payments for March to begin on April 6

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Zijad Krnjić, director of the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, stated that pension payments for March will begin on April 6, and that they have the necessary funds. Due to the current situation, a way will be found to deliver pensions to those over 65. The method for doing this will be known next week.

Sanjin Musa from the Federal Public Health Institute stated that the highest number of coronavirus cases, 33, is in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

He added that 737 people have been tested, and 95 infected, but these figures clearly do not include today's cases in Sarajevo, Goražde, and Brčko.

He stated that 35 cases are currently linked to the Igman Konjic cluster, and that three generations of contacts are being traced.

"Intensive work is being done to find them and suppress the spread. We can expect further increase in cases," said Musa.

He could not answer questions about why there are more tests in Republika Srpska compared to the FBiH, nor why the deceased woman in Ilidža was not tested, emphasizing that this is a question for the Cantonal Public Health Institute.
