
(Patria) - The Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton has secured funds and paid the seventh installment of scholarships to 1,473 beneficiaries, students-veterans
and their family members for full-time and self-financing studies of the first and
second cycles of the Bologna study system for the academic year 2024/2025, in the amount of 241,825 KM.
It is the obligation of the local self-government units to transfer the funds to the scholarship beneficiaries.
By local self-government units, the largest number of beneficiaries is from Zenica –
311 (54,875.00 KM), followed by Žepče 195 (31,675.00 KM), Visoko 172 (28,350.00 KM), Zavidovići 168 (27,550.00 KM), Tešanj 142 (23,500.00 KM), Kakanj 123 (19,775.00 KM), Maglaj 91 (15,125.00 KM), Breza 72 (11,800.00 KM), Olovo 63 (10,175.00 KM), Vareš 46 (7,500.00 KM), Doboj Jug 43 (7,125.00 KM), and Usora 27 students (4,375.00 KM).
In the Canton's Budget for 2025, funds are allocated for scholarships for students-veterans and their family members in the amount of 2,200,000 KM.
- This ministry has been awarding scholarships to all students who meet the prescribed conditions from the Decree for several years – said the relevant minister Adnan Sirovica.
