
(Patria) - The Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton has secured funds and allocated them to cities and municipalities for the payment of the eighth installment of scholarships for 1,473
scholarship beneficiaries, students-veterans and their family members
of full-time and self-financing studies of the first and second cycles of the Bologna
process for the academic year 2024/2025 in the amount of 241,825
KM.
The distribution of funds by local communities is as follows: Municipality of Breza - 72 beneficiaries (11,800 KM), Municipality of Doboj Jug - 43 beneficiaries (7,125 KM), Municipality of Kakanj - 123 beneficiaries (19,775 KM), Municipality of Maglaj - 91 beneficiaries 15,125 KM), Municipality of Olovo - 63 beneficiaries 10,175 KM), Municipality of Tešanj - 142 beneficiaries (23,500 KM), Municipality of Usora - 27 beneficiaries 4,375 KM), Municipality of Vareš - 46 beneficiaries (7,500 KM), City of Visoko - 172 beneficiaries (28,350 KM), City of Zavidovići - 168 beneficiaries (27,550 KM), City of Zenica - 311 beneficiaries (54,875 KM) and Municipality of Žepče - 195 beneficiaries (31,675 KM).
In the Canton's Budget for 2025, funds in the amount of 2,200,000 KM have been allocated for scholarships for students-veterans and their family members.
- This ministry has been awarding scholarships to all
students who meet the prescribed conditions of the Regulation for several years, and I hereby inform students that the announcement of the competition for awarding scholarships for the next academic year is expected very soon – said the relevant minister Adnan Sirovica.
