(Patria) - The "IKRE" Islamic Center in Munich, as part of its regular activities, hosted members of the Association "Movement of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves", led by Munira Subašić, Kada Hotić, and Ajša Hadžimešić, representatives of the "Association of Women of Podrinje Bratunac", headed by Šuhra Sinanović, as well as the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide, represented by Murat Tahirović.
Upon arrival, a planned tour of the premises of the modern and representative facility owned by the Islamic Center was held. Through this tour, guests were introduced to the center's infrastructure, as well as its cultural and educational programs.
A special lecture for young people was held with simultaneous translation into German, given the large number of guests present who are not from the Balkan linguistic area. The lecture was dedicated to the story of the Mothers of Srebrenica and their globally recognized struggle for truth and justice for the victims of genocide.
As part of the event, an educational history lesson was also held, during which the mothers presented their long-standing struggle through almost 30 years of work.
The event also marked the promotion of the books "On the Side of Humanity" and "Serbia and Croatia in the International Armed Conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina", which attracted significant attention from those present.
We thank the "IKRE" Islamic Center in Munich for the cordial and warm reception, as well as for the exceptional response from the membership who attended these important events.
