Islamic Community: Appeal to those responsible to urgently ensure the smooth operation of the public media service

(Patria) - The Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina is concerned about the interruption of production and broadcasting of RTV Federation of BiH.

According to a press release from the Public Relations Office of the Islamic Community in BiH, the role of the public service in every free and democratic state and society is of crucial importance.

“All actors in public and political life should place the resolution of long-standing problems in the functioning of the public RTV system at the top of their priorities.

Religious communities, including the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina as an active part of society, have an interest in the functioning of a professional and independent public media service, and once again appeals to all those responsible to urgently find solutions and enable the smooth operation of FTV BiH, as well as other public services,” the statement added.
