"The Temptation of Survival" is a story about the political life of Alija Izetbegović

On the occasion of March 1st, BiH Independence Day, a promotion of the book "The Temptation of Survival" by author Admir Mulaosmanović will be held in the large hall of the Gazi Husrev-beg Library in Sarajevo on February 28th at 3:30 PM. The book is essentially a revised doctoral dissertation defended in Zagreb in 2012. For the BiH news agency Patria, Mulaosmanović talks about the book's subject matter.

- The book is about Alija Izetbegović (first president of RBiH, editor's note), the founding of the Party of Democratic Action, and his life from 1991 to 2000, when he retired from active political life, as well as everything BiH went through during that period – said Mulaosmanović.

Otherwise, the promotion is organized by the Organizing Committee "Odbrana BiH-Igman 2014", the Memorial Fund, the Alija Izetbegović Museum, and "Dobra knjiga".
