Išerić on the Southern Interconnection: Divide everything, then 'take as much as you want'

(Patria) - Legal expert and politician Enver Išerić (NES), also president of the Guardians of Bosnia, spoke in a new social media post about the issue of alternative gas supply for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He believes that this case has revealed all the goals and policies of the HDZ, both ours and those of the state of Croatia.

-Thus, Dragan Čović, responding to criticism from the American ambassador, said that “the interests of the areas through which this gas pipeline passes, namely the West Herzegovina, Herzegovina-Neretva, and Canton 10, must not be ignored, and that harmony must be found on this issue.” Čović listed the cantons he believes belong only to Croats. And so, since the gas pipeline passes through those cantons, that is the main argument for establishing a special company for this gas project, which will be managed by Croats - states Išerić.

"As clever as it gets," writes Išerić, adding that Čović acted as if this gas pipeline were the interest of one village, one municipality, one canton, and not the entire Federation and all of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

-Croats managed the Aluminium plants, and what happened? They collapsed, as the saying goes, “like an old couch.” Just as many companies managed only by Bosniaks have failed or are in decline. And all these companies are owned, or majority-owned, by the Federation. The situation is no better with companies run, or managed, only by Serbs. The best example of this are the companies that cut and sell timber. Can you imagine selling a ready-made, nature-given product and making a loss? The same goes for the mines in the Federation.

He emphasized that the issue of the Southern Gas Interconnection is important for Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

- He said yesterday from Banja Luka that “without the Republic of Croatia, there is no this project, and that in the future company that will manage this project, Croats as a constituent people must be adequately represented.” Plenković probably meant BH GAS. As if there are no Croats in that company. I agree with Plenković. Only I think that in all public institutions, administrative bodies, and public enterprises, all peoples and citizens must be adequately represented. And that according to the 1991 census. That is what the constitutions mandate. And if it were so, there would be less corruption. Because while those “constituent members” in the management of companies and public institutions would agree on the “shares,” the company could develop or at least operate normally - writes Išerić.

He adds that they are not even allowed to breathe normally, which is why they do not want to waste either time or energy on it.

- Instead, divide the companies on the principle: one power utility for you, another for me. One telecom for you, another for me… then “take as much as you want” - wrote Išerić.
