Irfan Smajlagić is no longer the coach of BiH handball players

(Patria) - Irfan Smajlagić will no longer hold the position of coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina handball team, it has been confirmed for N1.

Smajlagić mutually terminated his contract with the BiH Handball Federation after our national team participated in the European Championship in Germany. At the European Championship, the Dragons lost all three group stage matches, against Sweden, the Netherlands, and Georgia, and the coach himself announced his departure as one of the possibilities after returning from Germany.

It seems that something like that has come true.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team faces a play-off for qualification for the World Championship, but a different coach will sit on the Dragons' bench in the future. There is still no information about who could succeed Smajlagić.
