Irfan Čengić new Secretary General of SDP

At the constitutive session of the Main Board of the Social Democratic Party, members of this board elected a new, narrower, party leadership. At today's session, new Secretary General, Vice Presidents of the President and members of the Presidency of SDP BiH were elected, as well as presidents and vice presidents of the party's Main Board, reports the Patria news agency.

Irfan Čengić, until recently the president of the SDP BiH Youth Forum Stari Grad Sarajevo and current party councilor in the Municipal Council of Stari Grad Sarajevo, was elected Secretary General of the party.

Goran Ljubojević, president of the SDP BiH Prnjavor municipal board, was elected president of the Main Board, while his vice presidents are Segmedina Srna-Bajramović, Ivan Boban and Rifat Delić.

Zekerijah Osmić, Slaviša Šućur, Lana Prlić, Zukan Helez and Jasmin Imamović were elected vice presidents of the party, while the new 12 members of the SDP BiH Presidency consist of Mira Grgić, Enver Bijedić, Damir Mašić, Mahmut Alagić, Munib Husejnagić, Saša Magazinović, Zoran Mikulić, Enes Suljkanović, Dajana Bakić, Željka Bošnjak, Mirko Pejanović, Svetozar Pudarić and Albin Muslić.

At the session of the Main Board, the decision on unification with the Union of Social Democrats was also confirmed, so that members of this party will have three members in the SDP BiH Presidency, 12 members of the Main Board and one member in the Supervisory Board of SDP BiH.
