(Patria) - Iranian state television announced the first official reactions following US attacks on three nuclear facilities.
Deputy Political Director of state television Hassan Abedini stated live that the facilities "were evacuated some time ago". He also added that, even if US President Donald Trump's claims are true, Iran "did not suffer a serious blow because the material had already been moved".
Spokesperson for the crisis management administration in Qom province, Morteza Heydari, stated that "part of the Fordo nuclear facility area was hit by an airstrike", the Iranian news agency Tasnim reported.
Iranian officials confirmed that the targets of the US attacks, in addition to Fordo, were also nuclear facilities in Natanz and Isfahan.
Deputy Governor of Isfahan province responsible for security, Akbar Salehi, stated: "Numerous explosions were heard in Natanz and Isfahan, we witnessed attacks near the nuclear facilities in those areas."
Thus, all three targets previously mentioned by US President Donald Trump - Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan - have now been officially confirmed by Iranian authorities.
