(Patria) - The High Representative in BiH Valentin Inzko, at today's commemoration of the 24th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica, said that he will advocate for the adoption of a law banning the denial of genocide in our country. In a statement to the media, he criticized the denial of genocide that we can still hear today from certain politicians, primarily the leader of SNSD, Milorad Dodik.
"These are their ugly political views. We have two decisions from the international court, and that court, as the highest body, has documented in detail and in thousands of documents what happened here," Inzko said in Potočari.
He reminds that a law on the denial of genocide in Srebrenica already exists in Canada, Belgium, Switzerland, but also in some other countries, and does not exist in the country where it happened.
"This is unacceptable, especially out of respect for the victims, and it is sad that politicians themselves do not do it," said Inzko.
