Intense rainfall, red weather alert issued

Cloudy weather with rain is expected in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Precipitation is expected first in the southern and southwestern areas, and during the day, the rain will gradually intensify and cover other parts, reports the Patria News Agency.

- More intense rainfall is expected at the end of the day and during the evening in the southern and southwestern areas, where showers with thunderstorms are also possible. Wind in Bosnia will be light to moderate from the south and southeast, and in Herzegovina and western areas, moderate to strong from the south. Morning temperature from 1 to 7, up to 10 in the south, and the highest daily temperature from 5 to 11, up to 14 degrees in the south - according to the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute.

Due to intense rainfall and thunderstorms, a red weather alert has been issued for some parts of BiH.

Variable weather conditions will negatively affect chronically ill patients and meteoropaths, so an increase in ailments such as headaches, nervousness, rheumatic pains, and insomnia is possible. We advise you not to overexert yourself with activities. The deterioration accompanied by rain, with occasional southerly winds, will also have positive effects, primarily on the air, which should be less polluted.
