(Patria) - The search for a six-year-old boy from Begov Han, as well as for Almir Gluhić, whose personal belongings were found on May 5 on the left bank of the Bosna river in Porobići, has continued.
The Federal Administration of Civil Protection (FUCZ) sent a request yesterday to the Republika Srpska Administration of Civil Protection (RUCZRS) for assistance in the search for two missing persons in the Bosna river: a six-year-old boy who fell into a swollen stream on Tuesday afternoon in Begov Han near Žepče, and Almir Gluhić from Zavidovići, whose clothes and personal belongings were found on May 5 on the left bank of the Bosna river in the village of Porobići.
In order to carry out all activities that could advance the search and to find the missing persons as soon as possible, FUCZ requested that RUCZ RS notify all legal entities, citizens' associations and sports clubs whose activities are related to the Bosna river, as well as the population in that area, downstream from Doboj to the river mouth, to pay increased attention and, if they notice any trace that could indicate the appearance of a drowning victim, to immediately report the information to the competent authorities and inform FUCZ.
In the village of Begov Han, at the confluence of the stream into the Bosna river, machinery was engaged yesterday to remove sand deposits, due to family members' suspicion that the body is buried under the sand.
RUCZRS immediately responded to the request for assistance and informed all competent services, which undertook certain activities.
