(Patria) - The Institute for Missing Persons (INO) of BiH, created out of the need to place human dignity above political divisions and national borders, is marking 20 years since its establishment this year.
Through two decades of existence, INO BiH has been a key institution in the process of searching for and identifying missing persons, and a symbol of perseverance and professional approach in confronting a difficult past.
On this occasion, INO BiH will host a gathering today in the White Hall of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH to remember all missing persons, as well as the path we, as a society, have taken in the search for truth, justice, and dignity.
Media statements will be held in the hall of the BiH institutions building starting at 12:00 PM, and will be addressed by the Chairman of the Collegium of Directors of INO BiH, Nikola Perišić, and the Head of the Western Balkans Program at the International Commission on Missing Persons, Samira Krehić.
