Inspectors in Arizona and Gradačac: 12 foreigners expelled from BiH

 

Inspectors of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs conducted an extensive inspection of legal and natural persons in the Brčko District and the municipality of Gradačac, specifically the well-known “Arizona” market and the New Market Gradačac, during the weekend, reports the Patria News Agency.  

The inspection action covered 53 legal entities where foreign nationals are employed or are founders and responsible persons. In the mentioned action, 99 natural persons were inspected, of whom 66 were foreign nationals and 33 were citizens of BiH. Eight inspectors for foreigners from several different field centers of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs participated in the action.

In regular operational activities last week, the Service for Foreigners' Affairs took a total of 48 measures against foreign nationals, including: 16 cancellations of visa-free stay, 12 cancellations of temporary stay, 12 expulsion orders, 8 orders for placing foreigners under supervision in the Service's immigration center, and 3 orders for voluntary departure and 4 misdemeanor orders.

In the coming period, inspectors of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs will continue continuous activities, inspection actions, and the imposition of sanctions for persons who violate the Law on Stay and Movement of Foreigners and Asylum, as well as other immigration regulations of our country, in order to detect and prevent the occurrence of illegal migrations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was announced from the Service.
